General guarantee conditions

The warranty period for all products offered is 24 months from the date of purchase, unless a longer warranty period is expressly stated. Products will be replaced or repaired free of charge if the defect is reported by the customer within 14 working days of receipt of the goods. If a product can no longer be repaired or replaced, an equivalent replacement product will be exchanged or a credit note issued to the customer. The warranty is void if changes or repairs are made to the goods without the written consent of BAWI-TEX AG. To the extent permitted by law, liability for damages is excluded. In particular, BAWI-TEX AG is not liable for damages that are attributable to improper use or natural wear and tear or for damages that have not occurred to the delivery item itself (consequential damages).

Guarantee mattresses and slatted frames

We grant a 10-year pro-rata guarantee on our mattresses and slatted frames. In the event of proven manufacturing or material defects, the mattress will be repaired or replaced free of charge for the first two years from the date of purchase. For each additional year from the date of purchase, 10% of the applicable gross price will be charged per year for the use of the mattress. Transport and packaging costs are always excluded from the guarantee and will be charged. The guarantee will only be granted if proof of purchase (with date of purchase, product name and name of the specialised dealer, seller) is presented. Any liability in connection with our products directly or indirectly is rejected.

3rd year pro rata 20% for buyer, credit 80% of the sales price

4th year pro rata 30% for buyers, credit 70% of the sales price

5th year pro rata 40% for buyers, credit 60% of the sales price

6th year pro rata 50% for buyers, credit 50% of the sales price

7th year pro rata 60% for buyers, credit 40% of the sales price

8th year pro rata 70% for buyers, credit 30% of the sales price

9th year pro rata 80% for buyers, credit 20% of the sales price

10th year pro rata 90% for buyers, credit 10% of the sales price

Hinweise:

Where possible, parts of the damaged item will be replaced or repaired (cores, covers, slats, caps, etc.).
Pro rata warranty on the price of the replaced part.
If this is not possible, the customer will receive a replacement item.
Pro rata warranty on the catalogue price of the new item.

Upon receipt of the repaired or replaced item, the customer will again have a 10-year pro-rata warranty.

Bawi-Tex AG reserves the right to refuse warranty claims for repairs and total replacements resulting from improper handling.

The warranty period for the motors of the bed bases, bed frames and accessories is two years (full warranty).

All outlet products come with a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase.
